TITAN MOBILE SHREDDING RECEIVES AAA CERTIFICATION
Doylestown, Pennsylvania (August 13, 2007) – TITAN Mobile Shredding, LLC a secure mobile document destruction company, serving Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, was awarded the AAA Certification for mobile operations, from the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) in July.
The AAA certification is offered to member (NAID) companies, so that they can provide the highest levels of document destruction security to their routine and one-time clients.
According to Bob Johnson, Executive Director of NAID, only about one-third of NAID members pursue this rigorous and voluntary certificate program nationwide. "We'd like to see more companies, like Titan, accept the high security standards we require for the certification" he said. Currently, TITAN is the only company certified by NAID based in southeastern Pennsylvania.
The certification process includes employee screening to restrict high-risk individuals from employment, security procedures for destruction size, so that documents cannot be reconstituted; timeframe for disposal and a substantial liability insurance policy. Moreover, many companies that are federally required to comply with HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) and FACTA are guaranteed full compliance by AAA certification.
